Halima Adewole Autism Foundation

Halima Adewole Autism Foundation is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide autism awareness in Nigeria and sponsor children with autism to attend special needs schools. The foundation aims to increase, empower and educate both individuals, families, and communities living with autism.

HAAF will provide support for children with autism to receive the necessary education and care.

Meet the founder

Halima Adewole is a Behavior Therapist residing in the US. Having grown up in Lagos and experienced firsthand the difficulties of being tagged as a slow learner with mild dyslexia, Halima understands the struggles of those with learning disabilities.

She founded HAAF due to her passion for education for children with learning disabilities and her current focus on children diagnosed with autism. Her experience working with children at an autism clinic in Atlanta, Georgia has equipped HAAF with the knowledge and expertise to provide advocacy and support for children with autism in Nigeria.
